2. Tripleseat Events Synchronization in PeopleVine
We have enhanced the Peoplevine-Tripleseat integration to offer more control over event synchronization as orders. A new setting, " Enable Order Sync From Tripleseat", has been introduced in the Tripleseat integration settings.
What’s New:
• A new checkbox, "Enable Order Sync From Tripleseat", has been added to the Tripleseat integration settings.
• By default, this feature is turned off. When enabled, events from Tripleseat will sync as orders in Peoplevine.
Previously, all synced events from Tripleseat were automatically treated as orders in Peoplevine, which could lead to duplicate orders when combined with manual entries in the POS system. This update allows users to selectively enable or disable syncing of Tripleseat events as orders, offering better control and reducing the likelihood of duplicates.
- Navigate to the Tripleseat integration settings in Peoplevine.
- Check the "Enable Order Sync From Tripleseat" checkbox if you want to sync Tripleseat events as orders in Peoplevine
- When disabled (default setting), events will only sync as bookings and remain visible on the member calendar.
Before: No option to control syncing of Tripleseat events as orders.
After: A checkbox labeled "Enable Order Sync From Tripleseat" allows users to toggle event syncing.
No immediate action is required unless you wish to enable this feature. For users who manage both POS orders and Tripleseat events, carefully review and enable the feature only if necessary to avoid duplicates.
3. Micros Simphony Integration Enhancements
We’ve updated the integration setup process for Micros Simphony in Peoplevine to provide greater operational flexibility and improved data reporting capabilities. These enhancements aim to standardize the integration process and streamline client operations.
New Features & Improvements
1. Revenue Center Mapping:
a. Introduced the ability to map specific revenue centers to POS terminals, ensuring accurate revenue tracking in Peoplevine.
b. Enables businesses to switch between multiple revenue centers with ease.
2. Micros STS Requirement:
a. Micros Simphony Transaction Services (STS) setup is now mandatory for all new integrations.
b. Ensures better transactional reliability and seamless synchronization.
• Existing Clients: No changes are required for clients using the previous setup. Their integration will remain unaffected.
• New Clients: All new integrations will follow the updated setup process, ensuring they benefit from the latest enhancements.
These updates were implemented to:
• Improve revenue tracking accuracy.
• Offer greater flexibility for businesses managing multiple revenue centers.
• Standardize integration requirements for better system performance.
Action Required
• Existing Clients: Consider transitioning to the new setup to leverage its benefits. We are developing a migration plan to make this process seamless.
